
Farrah Au-Yeung
Project Manager & Editor
Farrah Au-Yeung is a senior at UCLA with double majors in Psychology and Statistics, as well as a minor in Digital Humanities. As the project manager, she paid close attention to schedule and milestones, kept communication among team members efficient and harmonious, and made sure that the team's needs and goals were met. As an editor, she oversaw the overall "look" of the project to ensure consistent design, readability, and accessibility, ensured that all elements of the project are present, and edited the narrative to correct organizational, spelling, and grammatical errors. She also assisted with data cleaning, created the templates for each webpage on Wix, and contributed seven visualizations to the data narrative. Currently, her favorite shows on Netflix are "The Blacklist", "Grey's Anatomy", "Community", and "The Social Dilemma."

Pallavi Jayaraman
Pallavi Jayaraman is a sophomore at UCLA, currently undecided in her major but hoping to major in Economics. As web designer, she created preliminary wireframes for the website and structured the flow on Figma. She also created stylistic components by curating the color scheme and aesthetic of our page through HTML integration and CSS to ensure optimal clarity in the presentation and engagement with the content. In addition, she contributed two data visualizations. Her favorite show on Netflix is "The Umbrella Academy."

Jennifer Ko
Data Visualization Specialist
Keun Young (Jennifer) Ko is a Super Senior Feb at Middlebury College, majoring in Economics and minoring in Mathematics. As a Data Visualization Specialist, Jennifer cleaned data in R and Excel for visualizations created by her team members. Additionally, she oversaw each of the visualizations and its respective analyses, provided feedback on them, and recreated any if needed. She also contributed three other data visualizations “Production Locations of Movies vs TV Shows”, “Average IMDB Ratings per Release Year” and “Average IMDB Ratings per Year Added to Netflix. In doing so, Jennifer ensured that the data visualizations and analyses would be coherent arguments to the research thesis. Her favorite show on Netflix is the Korean TV series "Reply."

Hozumi Oshida is a senior at UCLA majoring in Sociology and minoring in Global Health. As a data specialist, she oversaw the usability and format of the data and contributed three data visualizations. Her favorite Netflix show is "The Good Place".

Rhea Singh is a senior at UCLA majoring in Statistics and contemplating a minor in Digital Humanities. As the Content Developer, Rhea helped oversee the narrative portion for the final project and the ‘About’ page in collaboration with the project manager and contributed 4 visualizations and their analyses. Her favorite Netflix shows are "Lucifer" and "Schitt's Creek."
